the usuals

When I was organizing (sort of) my external hard drive files, I found this documentary-ish project we did for our huma101 class 2 years ago? woah, I kinda feel old rn. lol

Anyways, While I was watching I couldn’t help but laugh at our faces and the crazy things we did. You’ll know what I mean by the end of the video. haha Reminiscing the time we filmed it and the number of takes we had to do.

Our project was to create a short movie that defines or tells something about a specific color of our choice. Well, we chose yellow. As bright as it sounds, we’ve defined the color as a representation for happiness. who would ever disagree?

I know that there’s a lot of other definitions and visual perceptions you could possibly make out it.Our group, the usuals, evidently tried to show the most prevalent reason. But now that I’ve watched it over some time, it has given me a whole new meaning in my heart. From the time we spent together, the bond that surfaced, laughs we shared, even the stress we had to endure while the deadline was just a few days and all the moments we can’t possibly forget. It revealed the best part, our friendship. And thinking of how it is now, all the changes through time and certain circumstances that passed us by, there’s still something that will remind us the people that made and continuously making us happy, and has marked our lives permanently.

And now, when I think of yellow its not just a bright and sunny color. It also makes me remember how our friendship started to grow. It might not be the same, but there are some things you just can’t forget.

As time passes by, our friendship intertwined and grew. Louder laughs, bigger goals, more adventures and a whole lot of new memories.
